Tucson Padres – The Final Four Games at Kino

It is bittersweet to promote this homestand for the Tucson Padres. The “sweet” is that the management team – led by VP & GM Mike Feder – and staff have some fantastic events planned for all the fans.  The “bitter” is that it will be the very last time the Tucson Padres will play because the San Diego Padres AAA affiliate will be in El Paso starting with the 2014 season.

We made the trip to Tucson in June this year because we wanted to see what it was all about … to watch and meet the players who are so close to being called up or even on the 40-man roster. We did that and more. We fell in love with the team and the people who “make it happen” each and every day.  By the end of our three day stay, we had interviewed a dozen players, watched baseball games, and made new friends – it was a fantastic trip. Before we left we also decided that we would find a way to make it back for their last homestand. We knew we wanted to be there to pay tribute to all those who work tirelessly to make Minor League Baseball a success … it would be historical and likely very emotional … and we knew we wanted to be a part of it.

So here it is – the last stand – the FINAL FOUR games at Kino Stadium …
