On Friday, April 22, 2016, Wayne & Rebecca sampled the Hodad’s Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Rings.
If you are visiting Petco Park and are looking to eat something that would be considered special to San Diego, Hodad’s is the place to go. The late owner of Hodad’s, Mike Hardin, set high standards for his food freshness and quality; that same passion lives in his #2 man, Jordan Fontaine.

When we learned that Hodad’s had moved from its sit-down restaurant on Toyota Terrace and the walk-up grill in the Park in the Park to four smaller walk-ups inside and around Petco Park, we were concerned that they may not be able to maintain the Hodad’s quality we had come to expect. However, Jordan assured us there was a method to the madness and he had it under control.

The food is still great and is a MUST if you’re at Petco Park. While Mike is no longer with us, his heart and passion live through those he loved and mentored and that keeps his business and memory going strong.
